Merge PDF Online Free: Combine Files Without Uploading Them
Combining several PDF documents into one is a daily task for students, office workers, and professionals: joining invoices, merging report chapters, or consolidating scanned contracts.
Unlike most online PDF tools, which upload your file to an external server to process it, our merger runs 100% in your browser using the pdf-lib library. Your documents — which may contain confidential information — never leave your device.
You can add as many files as you need, reorder them before combining, and download the result instantly. Ideal for anyone handling sensitive documents who doesn't want to rely on a third party to process them.
How does it work?
- 1Upload your PDF files
Drag several PDFs into the upload area or click to select them from your device.
- 2Order the files
Use the arrows to change the order in which the files will be combined.
- 3Merge and download
Click "Merge" and download the combined PDF; the whole process happens in your browser.
Frequently Asked Questions
No. The entire merge process happens locally in your browser using JavaScript (the pdf-lib library). Your PDFs are never transmitted to TecnoCrypter or any third party, not even during processing.
Not directly: if a PDF is encrypted with a password, the tool can't read its content and will flag it as invalid. You need to remove the password first (for example, by opening it with the password and printing it back to PDF) before merging.
There's no fixed limit imposed by the tool; the only real constraint is your browser's available memory, so dozens of normal-sized files work without issue.
Yes. The merge copies the original pages as-is (text, images, and vectors), without recompressing or degrading the content.
